During the meeting, held at Iran’s Culture Center, they thanked Rabbani and the center for efforts to promote and enhance Quranic activities.
Mohammad Farouq Miftahi, one of the officials, said the annual Quran competition organized by the center in the country has been influential in promoting Quranic activities among the youth.
He also said Iran’s successful experience in developing the Quranic culture can be a good model for India’s Muslims.
The Iranian cultural attaché, for his part, hailed India Muslim youths’ participation in the Quran contest and noted that more than 50 Qaris and memorizers took part in the 21st edition of the Quranic event this year.
